& ORIVE ROOM

The
exhibition

Awakening to Life: Childhood and Adolescence in Ancient Egypt invites us to explore, for the first time in Spain, a fascinating and little-known period of Ancient Egypt: childhood and the transition to adolescence.

More than 190 pieces from national and international museums, institutions, and private collections, immersive audiovisuals, accessible resources, and an innovative exhibition design immerse us in the daily lives of young people in the country of the Nile: their families, games, education, rituals, health, and beliefs.

Because childhood also left
its mark on history.
